Joseph Swedroe

After earning his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University, Joseph Swedroe returned to his hometown of Miami Beach to join his father’s architecture firm. He has played and integral role ever since through his involvement in almost every aspect of the practice.

During his earlier days, he excelled in customizing high-end luxury units to owner’s specifications. In more recent years, he has polished his skills in design development, which is evidenced in dozens of the firms’ most successful buildings. He creates efficient, view oriented floor plans that enhance the quality of life.

In the area of unit layouts and unit presentations for clients’ marketing materials, he has developed and advanced the firm’s interior graphics program. Utilizing the building’s floor plans, he interprets the scale and proportion of spaces for prospective buyers through knowledgeable placement of miniature furniture representations. This finite skill is an invaluable enhancement to the clients’ marketing programs.

From the time he began his tenure at the firm, Joseph has steadfastly contributed as a design team member to all of the firm’s major projects. With an uncanny memory for every project the firm has ever designed, he also fills the role of the firm’s historian.
